Just a few days ago my mum asked my siblings and I if we would like to do an Easter egg hunt this year. My 19-year-old sister was very enthusiastic with continuing the tradition, while my 13-year-old brother and I decided we weren’t all that crazy about it. I feel we have had our fair share of competitive searching and chocolate over the years, and at our age it just isn’t necessary anymore. However, after continued attempts my sister convinced my mum to hide eggs for her and my brother; I stuck with my original plan that last year was my last for egg hunting.
I woke up easter morning to find chocolate eggs hidden around my room – in shot glasses, make-up bags and shoes – and smiled.
